If it's overvalued, then sell it short and save us some grief.

Steve -
Did I mention my Rambus calls? <G>

I think I did notice something about that...

As far as SUNW as a company - over the many years I have been associated with them, I have always been impressed by their can-do attitude and ability to drive through adversity - first the established workstation players, then the onslaught of HP and IBM, and now the Wintel players - and still come out on top. I have been especially impressed in the last few years by the agility of the management team and their ability to focus resources on the right areas. They have also shown great skill in communicating their vision and direction, so much so that the current valuation, which can not be explained by the underlying business, none the less seems reasonable because of the sense that SUNW leadership understands the market forces and where the opportunities will be and has the energy to hit those targets, and will therefore continue to position themselves well. Just the opposite of DELL, whose management has delivered the best financial performance in the PC business, but who has failed to explain their direction and vision...

That's why I invested in SUNW years ago, that's why I invested over the last few months, and why I am comfortable.

And BTW, that's why I want to maintain a facts-based discussion, and why I respond to people like CHeryl who present as fact opinions which anyone with even the slightest familiarity with the industry would have a hard time accepting. The easiest way to get slammed with any tech investment is to lose objectivity and start buying the PR hook line and sinker... SUNW is good enough at the moment to justify my interest on its own merits.
