Yes, Rambus is still a high risk stock. But the fact that it "burned a lot of people on this thread last year" only shows the risk of investing before the chasm is crossed. Everyone has to decide on their own level of risk. Cree has performed wonderfully so far, but it has not crossed the chasm either. Ironically Rambus is a much safer stock now than it was last year yet its prior history causes people to refuse to look at it. Past performance is no guide to the future. If a get a chance I will post a summary of Rambus.
