At the risk of sounding blasphemous, why is everyone so hyped up over the Alta IPO? I use it out of loyalty (CMGIer since 12/98), but it really seems to be just another portal/search-engine. Nothing special that I can see.

Of course I'll try to get my 100 shares, but would flip it quickly with no regrets.
