Well actually intel is simply saying the chip runs at 1.5Ghz. And the integer unit runs effectively at 2x.

I don't consider that slimy.

If they had claimed 3Ghz as Mhz of the chip then that would have been slimy.

I am sure they were SORELY tempted though!!!
