Interesting options note:

RMBS may have crossed the chasm in gorilla speak anyway it's had a huge runup the last few days. And that caused put prices to go up instead of down in some cases. Someone on that thread sold RMBS 100s puts (I believe its at 151, but went as high as 171)...traditional teaching says sell puts on oversold not overbought, but he used the sale to finance call buying, and in any case, the puts had increased because of, I assume, volatility? I'd be interested to see what ed says about this situation, which is unusual.
