Hi Jill,

I believe RMBS was the proud owner of a monster short squeeze this week. I'd read elsewhere on SI that short interest had been as high as 37%. I know INTC announced further use of RMBS chips, but we all know what happened to RMBS last time INTC had a problem. For me, RMBS is no gorilla and is ripe to start falling back to its rightful place on earth.

But I could be wrong. <ggg>

jill....overbought/oversold

rmbs may provide opportunity, in spite of not being oversold....why? it has broken out, large gain, increases all volatility factors....similar to qcom from august to december, never really reaching an oversold condition, but the fast movement allowed a put seller to follow the common up with no cash outlay.

special situations always present themselves, take advantage, understand, bend the basic rule, but don't try to do with a less then momentum issue.
