JAKKS release. The key statement in the JAKKS earnings release is: "WWF Wrestlemania... achieved sales in excess of one million units within two months of its November 18th launch." This is cutely worded and does not say that all of such sales were within the 4th Q, since sales in the first half of January could well be included, although it does seem odd to be so cute in a release on 4th Q results. It seems like the recent posts here projecting 4th Q THQI income have been based on one half million Wrestlemania units in the 4th Q (am I recalling correctly). Assuming the JAKKS release did intend to say that one million units were sold in the 4th Q, what does this do for THQI's results. In any event, it should have a very positive bearing on the issue of 1st Q '00 results for THQI. RLJ
