What would be more trusted than your own PDA? Currently the newer PDAs allow for data transfer using IrDA - Why couldn't that tranfer media be utilized for me to say transfer persoanal data (only the items I choose on from an app on my PDA) to whatever/whoever for any purpose I need?

Go to the store, buy some items - couple of taps on the PDA screen and my credit card information is transfered, authenticated to the 3rd party source and transaction is completed!

Only thing is I would miss the touch and feel of all that ditry money :)
