I am long with VLNC since 97 and I have been lurking here from time to time, finding very little to add to one of the most civilized and educated (and patient!) threads on the web.
Thank you everybody for the knowledgeable contributions, including the reports on the SM.
While I am more confident than ever that we have a solid company here, there are a couple of concerns that bother me.

Number one: mass production. In order for Vlnc to have substantial profits, and to get big contracts with OEMs, the quantity of batteries produced must be huge. I know that in the past many posters made forecast of possible quantities, but did anybody from the company addressed the issue?

Number two: second sourcing. The strength of Vlnc (best on the market, or maybe unique) can also be her weakness. OEMs hate to be in a situation where the supplier is in a monopolistic position, both for contractual leverage and to guarantee continuity of supply (if something goes wrong with vlnc production). Hence Lev emphasis on licensing (additional revenues and second sourcing for OEMs)(but I am afraid this licensing process can take a long long time).

Please, if somebody found some answers to my concerns during the SM, I would be grateful to read his comments.

Regards, Alex
