As far as canning my SI Engineering team is concerned, I can assure you that won't be happening anytime soon. You are, of course, entitled to your own opinion, but I can tell you that the SI Engineering team is an outstanding group of developers. I am proud and pleased to have them working on SI. I know my presents will not be missed, but while I continue to stick around, I will remain critical of the goings on of the <cough cough> beta site. When it is all finalized, I will give it a look over, and be fair and just about it before my departure. But remember, I believe in reincarnation, so I might never disappear for good! *******This is important******** Why do I have to accept cookies when I sign on to the new SI? It surely will not benefit me in any way shape or form. What garuntee will you give the membership you will not pull a DoubleClick scheme? If you say "we won't" How about putting that in writing? As Cheeky has suggested in the past, placing such a disclaimer in the Mission Statement might carry some levity with those of us allergic to them. My deepest sorrows, but you guys have lost all creditability in my book, and I just plain DO NOT trust you any more. Trust is something that is earned. Words are cheap(just ask my wife)! If you want my support, fix the darn beta, and include somewhere cookies WILL NOT be used in any way, shape, or form to gather information, and especially to be sold to third parties. Ironically, My eaddress has become swamped with junk mail, and I wonder how this has come about. I visit very few sites on the web that gather cookies, but every time I login to the beta, I;m swallowing one. Thanks. If anything in this post is in error, please clue me in. I don't claim to know much, and my feelings sometimes cloud my preception. p.s Do you want to give us another "dead line" as to when you will shut down the original SI? From reading various posts, I'd say you are at least another month away. Maybe a little less. But your message that you'll be shutting it down the week of 2/6 was a joke IMHO. BTW, I understand somewhere a bunch of members received a mass mailing the other day. I did not. Care to share it with me? pps. and to all those who don't know me yet, here is your chance to put me on your ignore feature. I'm still gunning for #1 ignored.

Now we all know you a smart guy with that business degree from that fancy school but those courses you took there aren't helping you much these days are they? So if you are suffering from being geeked you must use your brain and become a geek...the only way to geek a geek is to speak geek and be a smarter geek so take some courses in geek 101..you are smart ..you can do it.
