Down to food discipline huh! As for trouble with dogs...

...I was attacked on Valentines Day by a neighbors large Pit-Bull as I was on an early morning bicycle jaunt.
I know the dog but I had never seen it out with its owner in the morning.
As I biked by it the next thing I knew my ankle was in it's mouth and I was trying to jerk it away while still riding.
I got free and kind of crashed the bike but still landed on my feet. I immediately placed the bike between me and the dog as its owner was still yelling at his dog to stop, which he did after a minute.
I have four puncture wounds to my right ankle. Two are to the bone.
Another neighbor said I was the fourth such attack by that dog in the past two months.
I have not called the Humane Society...yet.
The red cindered road to my house is no longer safe for me or others, so I will report it today.
I love dogs, but I would like to see all Pit Bulls put down no matter how sweet they appear. I know too many stories that are much worse than this one.
