Right On!

And when the press quotes "high gas prices" they never cite the prices two or five years ago when prices were not much less than they are now. They conveniently go back to a year ago when gas prices were at the lowest point in a decade or two and in addition many stations here in the PHX area were fighting a price war trying to get enough volume to pay their bills.

Using that standard of comparison we could say that today's oil prices are extremely low ... compared to the $120/bbl a ship owner, who wanted to get his ship back, had to pay to get bunker fuel in Japan during the last energy crunch.
