I agree. The US dollar has been devalued without the citizens even realizing it. The US prodded japan into joining the printathon, so our currency doesn't look too bad to the naked eye compared to theirs.

Palladium, Rhodium, and Plantinum have doubled within the last year. Rhodium has tripled, actually.

Oil prices have tripled.

In other words, the main commodities on this planet that cannot be printed at will by greenspan.com have increased in price by 100% or more. The rest of the world knows our inflation is spiraling out of control, but as long as the CPI number is cooked just right, everything will be ok.

so if oil is worth what ever they want for it maybe its a great hedge against any meltdown. hard assets even if they are in liquid form. why 'got gold' and not 'got oil' then ?

too early for, that's a yr or two down the rd.... all the WS houses came out and upgradded the drillers and oils this morning.... they are a SELL.
