Average increases of rent and gasoline over a ten year period are irrelevant. What about over the last year? HMOs are charging a lot more in the past 1-2 years, and you are seriously mistaken about the quality of care from HMOs.

gone up more like 400% in last 10 years.

housing gone up by 300% in last 10 years.

inflation is tame. (VBG).
