Bob,

I'd prefer the cash !!

ALA will probably take a bit of a beating if and when they
announce.

If the stock holds relatively firm, I'd sell and look at
a couple of other options for this money.

What will you do with the ALA stock you get? I'm long term on almost all my shares of NN. I need to look at ALA more before making a decision on hold or not.

Bob, I am going to seriously look into investing in ALA.
I think the co is undervalued. It has only doubled in value from
it's usual 25ish range in the last 5 years. I believe
people have not taken in full account that it is now a fultime
telco comp.

France is a big country in a large continent and you cannot
deny that Europe is just starting the Internet revolution.
I think ALA will be there to lead it.
With NN in it's corner, I think Siemens will be at adisadvantage,

To thread. What will you do with the ALA stock you get? 1-1 I would expect. Should be accretive to earnings. I will hold and take the ALA stock.

Bob if you add savings to 1$ eps for the next 4 quarters starting May 2000, NN eps will be above 1.5 $ US .

Not counting effect of ALA customers.

If it's ALA, I'll hold. They're the ADLS leader and combined with NN's ATM and 3DSL, they'll be a steam-roller.

The big question is whether to add going into the long week-end.

Suggestions?
