Ted, <i.it was Scumbria who was most threatened by Willamette just two weeks. I think his surprising turnaround in the last few days says a whole a lot. I think that Willamette will be a problem for AMD long term. The last few days have cleared up my near term concerns, (except for the FUD effect.) Scumbria

ted - <PB, instead of hassling Scumbria, why don't you find out why no two media releases seem to describe the Willamette's specs in quite the same way. I don't see the problem as stemming from Scumbria's interpretation but rather from the lack of clarity in Intel's presentation of the facts.> This is silliness. I understand Scumbria is now skeptical of Willy performance. Noo problem. But the perpetuation of absolutely silly rumors like Willy is somehow a 1000 / 500 hybrid is silly. I explained it before; he was just stating 1500 total in a real goofy way (1000 + 500). PB
