I think that the smart investor can play in all playgrounds to some extent. I look at AWRE as an example. One of my stocks for the next couple of years, and then I'm out. DSL is a stop-gap, and not a permanent solution. In contrast, as company like LVLT is a long term play, since it offers long term potential and value.

TERN is a play on wireless. I was behind the 8-ball on that area. I missed QCOM, entirely, and see it now as richly valued (perhaps I'm wrong again). WCII and TGNT (with their wireless components), and NXLK and MCOM are my basic wireless plays.

Some people would argue that I'm spread out too thin. My point is that 1) I can afford to be, and 2) I can't afford not to be. I need the diversification among managements and areas within the theme of telecom.

Regards,

LoF
