If this is true, that Microsoft goes open source, then the Justice Dept. ain't got no case. This should be very, very
bullish for the stock. Even, if others can copy, it will
be difficult to challenge the original maker with all their financial wherewithal. (IE: AMD vs. INTC) At the same time, MSFT is off the hook with all the legal and political
pressure on their business. Investors would look to get back in, the shorts would be dead in short order. If this is verified, expect major upside gapping on this stock.

Jack, This past week has been confusing to me. Can not figure out why the stock continued down while its "partner" Intel held its ground.
I don't buy that slow upgrade analysis that has been been out there--Gartner Group. I don't think that is the reason for the decline in the stock.

I wonder how options expiration has affected the stock.
The volume continues to be very heavy when compared to the other big cap techs like Cisco and Intel.

I think that settlement possibility will help going forward. I think we should be rallying tomorrow or at the latest Monday.

It is a great stock to own at this point in time, IMHO.
