Universal Media Holdings, Inc. Subsidiary Launches 'E-Trans Network Member Partnership'
CARLSTADT, N.J., Feb. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- James Zimbler, Co-Chairman and CEO of Universal Media Holdings, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: UVTF), announced today the formation of the "E-Trans Network Consortium." The Network is comprised of transportation companies located throughout the various regions of the United States. Each Network member specializes in its own "Geographic Footprint" and services its own customers on a local level as well as serving the needs of the other "Network Partners." Mr. Zimbler stated, "We stress the term "Partner" because each member is a strategic part and ally to the other members of the Network. No member of the Network competes with any other member, and each expands the service reach of the other members, ultimately increasing the sales levels of the entire Network and benefiting the bottom line of each business."

The members of the Network are: Sunrunner Transport, a Connecticut-based LTL (Less-Than-Load) carrier that services from the Northeast Region and covers the entire state of Florida; Design Carriers, a Texas-based truckload and LTL carrier with satellite terminals in North Carolina and Georgia (Design services to and from the Southwest and the Northeast daily.); McQuald Trucking, one of Pennsylvania's largest carriers. McQuald has a direct reach throughout Pa., Ohio, N.J., Md., Conn., and Mass.; J&A Transport, which is based in Chicago and handles LTL and truckload from Illinois to Pa., N.J., N.Y. and Conn.; Gerard Express, Inc., the operating division of E-Trans Logistics, Inc., has a 70,000-square-foot facility in Carlstadt, N.J. and serves Conn., N.J., Pa., and the New York City area. Gerard anticipates, starting on March 15, 2000, to open a 20,000-square-foot facility on 3.2 acres with 20 doors in Suffolk County, Long Island, New York to handle the strong demand of the Network for expanded coverage in the region; and EastWest Consolidators, a New England-based LTL carrier that services to and from the Northeast corridor to the west coast of the United States.

E-Trans Logistics, Inc. started the consortium February 1, 2000, with its other participants and confidently projects that this Network partnership will represent approximately $2.5 million in revenue to E-Trans Logistics., Inc. annually.
