We could see MSFT go up 40 in a day easy -- all it takes is the right (very good) news

That would be a gain in market cap of 400 billion dollars. Could you come up with news that would let that happen?

Of course, market-cap doesn't mean much anymore, so maybe you're right.

re: MSFT - I was especially impressed with the high end CPU support on Win/2000. In the organizations I've worked, it has been far easiler to find NT support people than Unix. An though I'm expert at Oracle, many find it hard to use. This provides a growth path to large scale applications that didn't really exist before, for SQL*Server and NT.
