The relatively low total capitalization of both the E & Ps and the drillers and oil service companies should make it fertile ground for the mo-mo crowd. Once it starts to run it can go like crazy. I remember 1997 when UTI (e.g.) would run up 2 to 3 points a day. I think its still a favorite of the mo-mo group. We'll soon see IHVHO.

OT. Re: Value in the INut sector - EBrokers?

USA today (believe it or not) wrote an interesting piece the other day on the Internet sector. The major thrust of the article was that MOST INut stocks are in varying degrees of a bear market. This fact has been masked off by the still heavy flow of IPO's and the B2B sector remaining strong. The authors believe the currently hot B2B sector is also running on borrowed time.

Apparently investors glom onto one sector, run it to absurd heights and then dump it like mad. Ebrokers are down like 75% from their highs now and are starting to interest me. Opportunity here? If any body has some ideas in this sector, pm me, please.
