Reseller, As usual, you make valid points and provide informed commentary. I don't disagree with your observations and I remain positive long term. I was simply hoping for better results before special charges and gains. What IM did with the extra money appears wise and should provide benefits going forward. Today however, it appears we're going to take a hit.

Not that it matters at this point but the reported margin of 3.7% reflects a one-time accounting charge related to inventory write- offs. Without this one-time charge, gross margin would have bee 5.1%

Historic IM gross margins were as follows:
Q4 = 99 = 3.7%
Q3 = 99 = 5.2%
Q2 = 99 = 5.8%
Q1 = 99 = 5.7%
Q4, '98 = 6.6%
Q3, '98 = 6.6%
