Confession:

I bought TERN Mar 100 calls as soon as I heard about his recommendation this week. Will flip as soon as I double my money (by Tuesday, at this rate.) <ggg>

I think that Gilder moves the markets, because he enlightens investors to some extent. I don't doubt that mo-mo money flows in on his every word, but when the dust settles, the long term believers have been (and will be, IMHO) rewarded.

I guess my point is that while there is a huge component of momentum in the recent moves like TERN, et al, his picks are sustainable, top quality players (beyond the mo-mo). It's not all about momentum, although I'm happy to have those guys driving volatility through the roof (it makes for some interesting options plays).

I think that TERN could be a gorilla candidate (proprietary technology with a huge potential market). Any thoughts?

TIA

LoF
