Wayne, I've been so busy that I didn't even know about the idiot Denny Green's plan to hustle Culpepper along, let alone have a clue about what's going on in turfdom. I'll try to keep up with posts here so that I might have a clue before heading to Keeneland in April. Hopefully the Times will at least have an article on the FOY, but one can never count on them to cover the ponies. <ng>

Any boxing fans out there?

The Barrera/Morales fight on HBO last night was among the greatest fights I have ever seen. Two young, tough, and talented Mexican warriors went toe to toe for 12 rounds for the 122 lb championship.

Mexican fighters have long been highly regarded for their heart. Last night was an amazing display of it. I have rarely seen a display of heart, willingness, and determination to win in any sport.

Hopefully there will be no ill effects for either fighter. They should promptly build a statue of both, one in Mexico City and one in Tiauana. I hated the fact that one of them was declared the loser. I wish I could lose at anything that well!
