Try this link for some pointers: thestreet.com Mind you, the biofreaks here and other SI threads have done significantly better than the author of the above article, but I still think his general approach makes sense. Speaking of which, if you don't know about the "VD Portfolio" thread, check: Subject 14492 Since early 97 these people have run a portfolio that is tracked daily. Trading is far from hyperactive, and, at least in the early days, picks were discussed and justified. Posting activity not so hot of late, but still worth a look if anything for its "archealogical" value. Best of luck, PB
