I Put in all or nothing for 3 days and they would not sell a thing.

That reminds me of what my experience around end of January. I had some spare cash in my RRSP and a penchant for value, so I had an limit order to buy K (Kinross) at $2.27 or so (which was the 52-wk low at that time) with an all-or-none restriction.

I did that of course because I didn't want to pay $29 worth of commissions just to get $227 worth of stock. My $2.27 order remained open but did not get filled even though some shares were sold at less than my bid! Another market lesson learned.
