LG, you may be right. It's hard conveying a position with some shades of gray. I expect that the rapidly maturing communications and internet infrastructure will cause a severe bout of deflation because of the enormous dislocation it will cause in the service economy. This is a long term expectation -- next five years.

In the short term (next few months), I think the high tech bubble is going to burst, but I don't think the overall market will follow the techs. And I don't think the tech bubble bursting will affect much the overall economy -- perhaps it will cause a mild recession but not much more within a year or so.
