Twister, congrats on ECP. You deserve every penny you make on that one, imo.

You patiently explained your reasoning several times. Very sorry I was just not able to move from seeing to understanding to considering to internalizing and finally to buying. And even with a clue -- you seem to be a person who doesn't make that many different purchases, who knows pretty thoroughly what he does buy - so your occasional stock ideas might be doubly worth reading --- I still blithely passed on by.

Perhaps I've been a little put off by newspaper stocks as I already have a losing position in HLR. I'll go back now and look at your GCI though.

TWISTER!!!!! Yeessssssssssssssssss!

-------------------------------
Twister, thanks again for discussing and helping me with GCI. I will now very likely increase my exploratory position.

Also :>) I just cannot resist mentioning... I took a small position in EIX on 7/24 @ 19.

(Of course, sad to say, being that I'm so diversified, no matter how much these Buffett stocks might appreciate, my dollar profits wouldn't and won't be as large as the profits other people here might very likely experience with their more concentrated portfolios.)

regards, and thanks again for a nice call on GCI.

who is assuming that if Mr. Buffett has been buying recently, that there's room in those stocks for (further) appreciation for patient investors who purchase now also.
