Jeff, I'm not so sure on that, and I think the verdict is still out. For example, I many times proxy surf through an anonymous server in an effort to maintain my privacy. I share your concern and agree that the trend may change although I believe that most will forego the privacy concerns for those of convenience and instant gratification . As you have stated Gemstar is positioned well in any event. Maybe advertisers will address this issue in the form of "online instant rebate coupons" or some similar vehicle, but the fact remains that privacy vs. collection of marketing information is an issue, and that this information carries an associated value with it. Gemstar has intellectual property in the area of time-sensitive discounts applied to smart cards upon the viewing of an advertisement. The discount is later applied at the consumers convenience or expires. This means is compared to Wink's click and we'll mail you a coupon or the many download and print couponing schemes. I realize that this is years off but it is another example of vision. Regards, Stew
