Captain: Not that it should matter very much, but I can confirm that you did post your DELL buy and sell when you did it, and it was as you described. And you did set out your very short-term strategy in advance. It is not surprising that COMPAQ investors are very angry and distressed about their investment. It's too bad that one or two of them vent their anger on you or others instead of on the BoD and managers. The technique of branding dissenting discussants a liar and distorting their investment record is a particularly dirty trick which is not tolerated in most normal forms of discourse. Since self-policing does not seem to work with one or two posters, especially those who presume to police others, I resorted to the Ignore button some time ago. I haven't missed anything of value. I would recommend it.
