Hey John,
Could you please translate into plain English what this means for the short term.

Lane,
TSC's article is from their chartist Gary. Somebody had asked him about Cube's chart. His answer is that it has a banana shape and we have to watch out. Last time when it was sitting in 30's he said he liked ZRAN better than Cube based on the chart. He doesn't care about the long term.

Here's an interesting site: insidertrader.com

Outstanding John...Looks like we have a sound foundation for the Cube-Semi spinoff. BTW, I'm kicking myself for not purchasing at least 200 shares of ELNT. It sure has taken off. But those 1500 shrs of IFCI sure are helping matters. Got in at 10.25
Any idea when the details of whole Cube deal with HLIT & spin might be announced? Will there be a formal announcement or was that considered taken care of in the conference call.

John, I must tip my hat to you. Most excellent find!!

Thomson is a fierce decoder competitor, having beat Cube year after year as the highest volume Settop box supplier.

Now Cube has the Codec and DVR is all the rage. Thomson need a Codec very badly.
Thompson knows what it takes to encode. They've toyed with their own encoder algorithms for years.
They can go with a Cube solution that has many man years behind the development of the patented algorithms or they can go with one of the new unproven suppliers.

It would certainly be a feather in Cube's cap to get into a Thompson settop box.

I take that back, it wouldn't be a feather in Cube's cap but instead would be a full headress.

Thanks Inspector Clouseau. Is that price $19.78 fixed or will it change based on where the semi stock opens end of March? Isn't this a great win? How come Mr. Market seems to ignore and keeps pricing Cube semi at about $22? Short-term, I would think that the semi side pricing should start moving upwards. So far it has not.
