Good evening/good morning, Steven. Your point is well taken, although I don't think that the problem is "Hollywood-conditioned eyes" so much as their having grown up here and spent so much of their lives--maybe all--in this country. They find it difficult to understand how America's very power, in and of itself, could be a cause for concern, fear, and distrust. They are too thoroughly on the inside to imagine how it looks from the outside.
