MGV, although I am also on the short side of VLNC, I have to take issue with acquisition being the "only" exit strategy. If VLNC does have a superior product and patent protection, then it could be very profitable to keep VLNC small and license the technology to multiple larger companies. The bet here is on the value of the technology, if the value is here there are multiple ways to profit from it.

I am short because I am skeptical of the VLNC technology advantage relative to the big players and don't expect them to make big deals with VLNC. The company will do very well if I am wrong in that opinion and those that attended the meeting came away convinced that the technology is valuable. This one could go either way.......
