Thanks for the answer Sultan. I feel the same as you. It's hard to see what this guy's agenda really is. Does he want to inform objectively or does he have a noted preference to start with -- whatever the reason?

Well, he sure does not give much credit to Cognos' management. It's pretty hard to understand, given this company strong financials and leadership position...

Like you, I can't fathom why he is so impatient to see the results of Cognos' aggressive sales build-up. Why? The move has just started last fall, for God's sake. It doesn't take a nuke physician to understand that a few quarters will be needed to get results. Even me can understand that! Go figure...

Anyway, I didn't like the tone of this article, but felt obliged to pass it along. I just hope, now, that the correction (I am quite sure even the Nasdaq is due to suffer one now...) won't affect Cognos' future valuation too much, as it's already down almost 15% from its high.
