Brian,

This is what I don't get. This piece is from The Times. I am just lost as to what the real plan of the liberal media is.

Do they WANT Gore or not. Helping Bush get the nomination is the surest path to putting Gore in office.

It is a mystery to me.

Regarding: "He can't take the high horse and claim the low road."

I wonder if this reflects an inherited clumsiness with language and executing a straight thought? He seems so reminiscent of Bush pere with his inability to get out a straight, coherent, complex full-length sentence in his mother tongue.

A lot of the criticism of George Bush reminds me of the criticism of Ronald Reagan. Can we be so lucky again to get a great leader like Reagan. Just maybe. Bush has done an excellent job as Governor. Black and Hispanic children have seen their grades go up through imparting more personal responsibility and the proper encouragement and teaching processes. The state is in fine shape. He has an ability to be inclusive of all citizens. I believe George W. Bush will make us all proud.
