The Market... *************** Good post Willaim... I think the toll of the continuing FED rate hikes is yet to be felt because of the 6 to 9 month lag before taking effect... Based on the economic forecast you presented we could see another 2 rate hikes before the FED realizes that they may have overdone it... Contrast this against an election year market, and we have a tug of war going on regarding whether there will be stimulative or continued restrictive activity by the FED... As for overseas markets pulling some investment money away from the domestic side of equities, I plead guilty... : > For about a year my asset allocations have heavily favored the overseas markets... Given the instability around the world many foreign investors continue to view the U.S. as a bastion of safety for their core holdings...
