Bill, your discussion is fascinating and one of the best I've read for a while. My only comment is that I believe SUNW has been keenly aware of this for a while and has been planning a strategy. I was surprised when Eric Schmidt left SUNW in 1997 to head NOVELL, but it all made sense to me when I read Gilders' discussion of the storewidth paradigm and that he has now added NOVL to his list of telecosm stocks because of its crucial directory services. SUNW and NOVL form a very nice strategic pair. Do Eric and Scott play golf? All the best, Michael Dr. Eric Schmidt Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer Novell, Inc.
