crazy,

I don't have any idea what made you think a June 1999 release was possible but you may have been closer to the truth than "Athwipe" Engle would like to admit."

I'm pretty sure that K7 was shipping in June, and systems were shipping about 8 weeks later. Intel says they are shipping 1GHz PIII's but I doubt that Paul will find any systems for sale at Fry's today!

Crazyman,
RE:"I was absolutely amazed to find that all three of my Athlon 700 MHz processors were manufactured in the FIRST week of March (week 9) of 1999!!! That meant to me that Jerry had the processors and quietly put them in his closet to be sold after the release of the 700's in November 1999.

How do you decipher those numbers?
