Can you recommend a source to get (close to) instant updates on commodities I am not sure that this is responsive to your post but it is a link that provides a wealth of information on trading futures; since my trading system is completely mechanical it ignores fundamental information relating to the futures markets that I trade. smotass.net can you recommend a system which would help me understand my broker and enable me to get more insight? I will need further clarification of what it is that you are looking for before I can even attempt to respond to this. FWIW, I use a discount broker and so the broker's sole involvement is the execution of orders that I place. If you have not already done so, it may be worth your while to read a couple of good books on the subject of futures trading before you commence trading.
