I worked for us at the conference, based on my belief that the more I help others the more I help myself.(if your a better trader and post a good pick, I benefit) I screened many traders until I found 2 that were "excellent". I will be inviting them to contribute here on the tread, hopefully they will accept my invitation. One is an X-investment banker & opitions expert, other a tech stock trader. More on than later.

Sammy,

I don't use Turbo Tax, so I should probably keep my mouth shut. But since I'm one for putting my foot in my mouth from time to time, I'll chance it and say that I don't see why you would treat a short trade any different than a long. On Schedule D1, I just put in the date and price of the sell and then put in the date and price of the buy. The fact that the dates are reversed from normal {the buy being after the sell} should tell anyone looking at it that it was a short.
