To all of you "woulda coulda shoulda" types, one of my favorite topics..........Greed.

"As any trader knows, once you have a trade -- particularly a profitable one -- you have to fight against the three deadliest of demons. They are: greed, Greed and GREED."

A must read for all

cnbc.com

I don't mean to imply that I'm a better trader than anyone else, but I have survived trading for 20 years, when most current stats say 90% of all new traders go bust within 6 months and of the 10% that are left 1/2 of those are gone within the next 6 months. So while I have no way of knowing if I'm any better or worse than anyone else, I am inclined to believe I may have more experience than most. What that has taught me is "Greed kills always has always will." So the next time instead of saying "*%$#@^" when the stock you just sold runs, say I'm glad I locked in a profit and survived another days as a trader as a result I will only get better with each day I survive in the market. Learn good money management skills and survive, survive long enough and you'll thrive, thrive and you won't feel then need for greed.
