Mani and thread:

The recent upgrades have resulted in a change in AMD's analyst recommendation according to Zack's Research:

Current Recommend:

2.11, down from 2.23 last week; that includes 8 Str.Buys, 6 Buys, 8 holds and 1 Str. Sell (bogus). If it weren't for the str. sell, the recommend would be under 2.00.

EPS estimates:

2000......$1.85 up from $1.81 last week.
2001......$2.88 up from $2.88 last week.
Q1,2000...$ .33 up from $ .32 last week.

Not bad for a stock that wasn't making $ just 4 mos. ago!!!

Mani and Thread - RE: HP 800

Has anyone seen HP Cumine 800 systems lately? People here have seen HP Athlon 800 systems, but no mention of the Cumine versions. People at the yahoo thread say they have seen the HP Athlon 800 systems at Sams, Best Buy, Frys, and CompUSA.

I know Mani, and Elmer, PB, and Paul have seen HP Cumine 800 systems. Are they still there?

Maybe HP went over to AMD because "demand is high, ramp is fine" with the Cumine systems. ;)
