slacker: What is fascinating about this new DSP chip announcement from TI which will be introducted today is what it does not mention - CDMA.

The only implied reference (by ommission) is that the chips are designed with "current customers" and software in mind, i.e. the likes of Ericsson, Nokia and other GSM and TDMA suppliers as far as wireless phones are concerned.

Wonder if any question concerning CDMA will be raised at the press conference?

Still amazes me that TI (which shows many signs of excellent management) seems to be ignoring mobile CDMA as a potential market.

Best.
