[NYSE: General Datacom Declines To Comment On Stock Activity] NEW YORK -(Dow Jones)- The New York Stock Exchange said General Datacomm Industries Inc. (GDC) declined to comment on its stock price movement, citing corporate policy. New York Stock Exchange listed shares of General Datacomm were recently trading at 13 15/16, up 2 3/16, or 18.6%, on composite volume of 906,000. Average daily volume is 265,467. In a press release Thursday, the New York Stock Exchange said it asked General Datacomm to issue a public statement indicating whether there are any corporate developments that would explain the unusual market activity.
