Re "Kvaerner exits the sector": when some of the competition drops out, that allows the sector to recover. This is exactly what happens at the bottom of the cycle, which is arguably the best time to buy. (Just a comment on the sector; I have no opinion on FGH)

You think the bottom is near when Bill Gates takes an Eight percent position in Newport News? Kinda reminds me of the ending in the movie "Pretty Women", except that Richrd Gere had the politicians in his back pocket and not on his back.

Maybe this will get all those tech die-hards to start buying up some Bethlehem Steel and Union Pacific so I can retire.
