TI low power chips for wireless devices.

As a newbie/lurker here a big THANKYOU is in order to all those board regulars from whom I've learnt an enormous amount re: vlnc. I initiated a long position in the mid-teens and am excited by the potential.

It appears that new chips are making progress in substantially reducing power consumption which may effectively slow the need/urgency to adopt new battery technology in the near term. Also in the longer term to what extent might this be seen as a limiting factor for mkt growth of new battery technology.

No fear here, just looking for some opinions from those better informed than myself.
