Re: National Sales Tax

I like the notion of replacing the income tax with a
sales tax. But there must be a provision to protect
our existing after-tax assets from the double taxation
that will occur with a sales tax. After-tax home equity
and other assets will ultimately be "spent" by us or our
heirs, resulting in the same double taxation that will
occur when we spend our after-tax checking and
savings accounts after a sales tax becomes effective.

Double taxation in any amount is wrong and must be
fought.

RE: National Sales Tax
What about barter and I can get it for you wholesale.
Tax evasion is much easier when you have millions of tax collectors with no real incentive to collect.
