No, you get the warning right after the install. You can say rgister later but everytime you open it you get another warning...like you have 46 more left before you MUST REGISTER.
They give you various ways to register. Internet, modem, hard FAX or telephone. I registered once while hooked up to a cable modem without even having a browser open. Actually, you don't even have to tell them who you are...just leave everything blank...

Only when you use the hard copy fax or telephone and speak to someone do you get a confirmation key to type in.
They ask for two numbers.

Probably.
Not that I know of...

I suspect Microsoft would have loved to link every individual copy
software through Intels PSN...and may try it yet...
