Andreas: If it was going broke they would work hard to improve the share price. Fact is they are all fat and comfortable at COMPAQ - lots of cash and securities, no debt, worldwide offices, lots of prestige, controlled from New York by a back-office Chairman who has hundreds of millions in personal wealth to play with should his COMPAQ hobby do badly.

I vaguely remember you making some comment which reflected that at the time you owned tan. If that is true, do you happen to know why tan is down 2+ today (in fact it was down as much as 4+ earlier)? Thanks.
