Suppose what you said is correct and all the Democrats will not vote for the GOP in the national election. If that is true, then you might as well hang it up cause you can't win without the so called "Reagan Democrats". There are far more registered Democrats than Republicans so you have to get some to cross in order for your party to win in the national election.

Your party has traditionally run so far to the right in it's primaries, that it can't get back to the center in time to attract enough Democrats to win. Al Gore will be grabbing the center for himself and there isn't alot of room in the middle.

Right now you have Pat Robertson slinging mud for Bush and McCain accusing Bush of bashing the Catholics! My, my, my, such Christian ethics!! LOL

Zoltan,

Explain to me exactly why a liberal democrat would even show up for a republican primary nevermind to vote for McCain, who is still fairly conservative, nevermind, to vote for McCain who is a candidate who stands a much better chance of beating Gore.

If you claim that this was an organized liberal democrat consipiracy/setup to hurt Bush, you will essentially lose all credibility and make yourself sound foolish, so I would ask that you give it some more thought. Don't be a stock tout claiming that the shorts or the MM's are out to screw u, it's embarassing.

BTW, Bush has absolutely no chance of beating Gore. The independents and Reform party will vote Gore and eat him alive. A SMART republican would recognize this fact and vote for a candidate who can win, but then again, the repubicans (at least the vocal leadership) have continuously let me down in the area of practical intelligence.
